Dining with The Davids isn’t just a show — it’s a community. Our Taste Buds are the insiders who join us for exclusive group dinners, sample curated menus, and help us crown the best bites in the Coachella Valley.

 

We ask for a one-time $50 initiation fee to become a Taste Bud. After that, you’re in — ready to join us at the table, be part of our episodes, and support local flavor.

🍽️ Taste Buds Rules & How It Works

 

• RSVPs & Alerts:

  Invitations are sent out weekly via Text Message using Partiful. Download it (free!) to RSVP, join waitlists, or modify your reservation.

• How You’ll Get Invited:

  Once a week, you’ll receive a text that goes something like:

  “David Cox has invited you to a DWD event at [Restaurant Name] on [Date] at [Time].”

  It includes the price per person, and full menu via link.

• Typical Cost:

  $80–$110 per person, depending on the restaurant.

  Price includes tax and tip. Alcohol is optional and billed separately at the table. 

• Waitlists:

  If an event is full, join the waitlist! You’ll be notified via the app if a spot opens up.

• Seating Style:

  Couples are seated across from each other to encourage conversation and community.

• Payment:

  We accept Apple Cash or Zelle only.

• Filming Notice:

  By attending, you consent to be filmed for what we call the “Yum Shot.”

  We may record your reaction to 2–3 dishes during the evening.

• Allergies & Dietary Restrictions:

  • Family-style dining means shared plates.

  • If you have allergies and choose to participate, you do so at your own risk.

  • This group is not recommended for individuals with severe allergies or dietary restrictions.

• Name Cards provided at each seat — please don’t move them.

• Cancelation Policy:

  • 48+ hours’ notice = full refund

  • Less than 48 hours: Refund only if someone from the waitlist takes your spot.

• Keep It Positive:

  • No politics.

  • No drama.

  • Be present, be kind, and bring good energy.​
